The booking clock
The staining season here is short, so we book it in winter
Here is how the year runs. The months are a sample the owner sets each year.

When we stain
Our weather rule: dry wood, a dry day and a dry day after
We stain when the wood is dry and the forecast holds. When it doesn't, we move the job and text you the new day.
Wind blows dust into wet stain, and afternoon sun on a deck can dry a coat before it soaks in. On those days we start early or stop. We never stain wet wood to keep a date.
No stain on wet wood or ahead of rain
Early starts on hot, sunny decks
A rain delay moves the dates, not the written price
We text you the new plan the same day

What you can do
Three ways to get a better slot
Ask in winter
January to March is when the calendar is open and we can give you your pick.
Send photos first
Photos let us write most of the estimate before the snow is gone.
Be flexible by a few days
Weather decides the order. Owners who can shift a day or two get on faster.
